Google has been giving many sites and blogs Authority status. An authority site or blog comes up with sub-listings on Google search engine results page. Recently GII came up with authority links, the owner of this site is Amit Bhawani.
The next site that showed authority status is the Phplynx. There are also a few more directory websites that are showing those sub listings but on my datacenters they are coming up as normal listings. Allthelook and cascandra are a few of those. Another strong web directory, Romow, is coming up as authority is google.
Congrats to all those that achieved this status, previously only the really strong sites used to have this status, even today only a few directories have this status. what ever may be the reason, good backlinks or nice in-linking, the sub-listings always looks good.
